Hello Record-Eagle readers,

If you’ve been waiting to pull the trigger on your real estate purchase until (fill in the blank), you’ve waited too long.

Once the birds start singing and those tough, gorgeous, first little flowers push their way up into the bright spring sunshine, it’s already too late.

Pray for the snow to hang in there for just another few days, maybe a week if we’re lucky.

Hope for some really crappy weather to round out this month.

You cannot imagine how powerful the effect of the long, dark, cold winter has on sellers of Traverse City real estate. Those first, puffy little snowflakes drifting down towards Earth have a dreadful, demoralizing affect on seller’s psyches that doesn’t abate until… Spring!!

Springtime promises more than ice-free sidewalks and snowdrift-free views of the home from the street. It practically guarantees a flood of eager buyers waiting to make passionate and inflated offers on their home for sale. The innate advantage that winter gives a buyer dissipates as quickly as the last snow banks in a warm spring rain.

Much the same affect can be seen in the cost of a four wheel drive vehicle as those first winter storms march across the state. Prices goes up. The supply is much the same, but demand skyrockets. One of the most powerful buyer’s negotiating advantage evaporates with snowpack.

Pray for one last blizzard and don’t dally. Make that offer.

Call TEAM MIKE today and combine the advantage that three-foot snow banks and leaf-less trees give to the negotiating position of property buyers with the professional prowess of the region’s top Century 21 team.

And if you have any questions, or if we can be of more help, don’t hesitate to respond below, or send us an email directly at MikeGaines@C21Northland.com.

Think Snow!!! for maybe just another week,
TEAM MIKE
